Every CDL applicant gets a screening call the same day
cdlhr.ai is hiring software for US trucking employers. When a driver applies to one of our customers, our AI voice agent calls them, identifies itself as automated, asks a fixed set of job questions, and scores the recorded conversation. The recruiter opens a ranked list instead of a voicemail queue.
Screening that runs while the recruiter sleeps
The applicant applies
A driver applies to a named carrier through that carrier's hosted application page on our domain. On that page they agree to be called about the job they applied to. An employer can also bring an applicant who gave it consent to be called directly; those applicants are called, and never texted.
Our agent calls them
An automated voice agent places the call inside legal calling hours, never before 8am or after 9pm where the driver is. It says it is automated, discloses that the call is recorded, and asks the questions the employer set for that job.
The employer sees a score
The call is transcribed and scored against the job's stated criteria, with the recording and transcript attached. A person decides who advances. The software never rejects anyone on its own.
Text messages, once we send them, and how to stop them
We do not send text messages yet. The program below starts once the application page carries its own SMS opt-in box, and this section will say when it does. It will text only CDL applicants who tick that box on the application page of the employer they applied to. Messages will carry that employer's name, the job, and a link to their application. The box will never be ticked in advance.

We do not sell or share a driver's mobile number or their SMS consent with anyone for marketing. An applicant's number reaches the one employer they applied to, and no further. The detail is in our Privacy Policy.
Our SMS consent page shows what the application page asks an applicant to agree to today, and the SMS opt-in that will be added before the first text.
